The Local Government Librarians' Association of Western Australia (LocLib) has, for more than 20 years, worked to promote and develop the public library network in Western Australia.
As a small (we have rarely had more than 50 members) and voluntary organisation of librarians working in local government, LocLib has been extraordinarily successful in being recognised as the voice of public libraries in Western Australia at both the local and national level.
